Applications are being accepted for a full-time, 10 month (190 days) position available immediately.  This position will provide clerical support to the Director of Transportation.  Duties include but are not limited to monitoring vehicle radio communications with drivers and contractors; assisting with the coordination and handling of emergencies, delays or cancellations due to weather or unforeseen circumstances as they impact the transport of students; assisting with maintenance of the transportation software to compile and file state reports in a timely manner; processing requests for the use of district-owned vehicles and appropriately registering employees for such vehicle use; maintaining written and verbal communication with administration, staff, contractors, parents and the community; answering any questions and/or concerns; answering phones; opening mail; typing correspondences, letters, and memos; filing, faxing, copying, etc.; and performing other duties as assigned by the administration.

Work Hours:  8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with one hour unpaid lunch period

Work Location:  Operations Building

Applicants should have three (3) years of experience as a secretary, preferably in public education, and an Associates degree in office administration or equivalent or equivalent additional experience in an office environment with a high school diploma or equivalent.
