On September 16, 2019, ABC27 Meteorologist, Adis Juklo, shared his passion for weather to a captive audience of second graders at Kunkel Elementary. Mr. Juklo explained what to do during dangerous weather conditions such as tornados and lightning storms. Students even got to watch Mr. Juklo create lightning using an electrostatic generator. Students heard how air pressure determines weather conditions and learned about different types of clouds and snowflakes. Mr. Juklo showed his love for snow by wearing his snowflake tie! After the students returned to their classrooms, Mr. Juklo told Kunkel Principal, Mr. Dan Borrelli, that he was very impressed with the attentiveness and behavior of the students.
