Student Updates

Middletown Area School District cares about the safety and welfare of our students. Having accurate information on file enables us to provide quality care. It is very important that parents/guardians update their Annual Student Update and SchoolMessenger Update each year so we have accurate and reliable information on file. Beginning February 2021, parents/guardians of students who have not completed their updates will be sent a weekly reminder with the following instructions. If you do not have a computer or mobile device with internet access, you may visit the public library, any school building, or our District Administration Building at 55 W. Water Street.

The Annual Student Update and the SchoolMessenger Update is completed in your PowerSchool Parent Portal. The directions below will assist you with the process. You will receive an email for each MASD student in your household. Please be sure to complete the process for each of your children. 


  1. Sign in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal - powerschool.raiderweb.org
    NOTE: if you do not already have an account or forgot your username/password, please contact your student's building secretary or send an email to registration@raiderweb.org for assistance. 
  2. Once signed in, you will see a Parent TO-DO List at the top of the page with 2 steps listed as seen in the photo below:

    STEP 2: SchoolMessenger Update 
  3. Complete each of these steps by clicking on the links at the bottom left (RED arrows in photo).
  4. NOTE REGARDING SCHOOLMESSENGER: you can enter up to two phone numbers and two emails. For each phone number you can choose to receive a call, a text or both. For email, please keep it selected or you will miss important District announcements that are only sent by email.
  5. Once both steps are completed, proceed to the next child in your household by clicking on their name in the top-left corner of the screen (GREEN arrow in photo).

When all of your children are completed, please feel free to browse through the many screens available to you in the Parent Portal. If you need assistance, please contact your child’s building secretary or email registration@raiderweb.org. We are here to help!
