Applications are being accepted for a seasonal position available with the Middletown Area Recreation Alliance (MARA). This position will provide director oversight over the day to day operations of the Summer Playground Program. The position will be responsible for managing and leading a team of counselors, developing daily schedules for programming and staffing, and maintaining parent communication. Successful candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field; prior management experience, preferably within summer camp or recreational programs; must have a valid driver’s license with the ability to pass the school van driver's examination; and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Hours of work will be Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
This seasonal summer position is projected to begin on June 8, 2020 and continue through August 14, 2020. Required pre-service training days will be scheduled prior to the start of the program on June 8, 2020.
